Romain Grosjean, after securing pole position yesterday at the Dubai circuit for the opening round of the season and the history of the GP2 Asia Championship, also won the race 1/2 by a significant margin.
The Frenchman benefited from a very poor start behind him, with a battle between the second and third, Senna and Soucek, both of whom cleared the way for the F3 Euro-series champion.
Adrian Vallès secures the 4th position just milliseconds behind Andy Soucek, whom he attempted to overtake time and time again.
Romain Grosjean, the new tester for Renault F1 Team, will start from the 8th position for the second race, just like in the classic GP2 series. The starting grid is indeed the same as the finishing order of the first race, except for the top 8 drivers who start in reverse order. Therefore, it will be Karun Chandhok who starts from pole position.
