For the third and final practice session of the New Zealand weekend, it was A1 Team France and Loic Duval who set the fastest time.

On the Taupo circuit, in dry weather conditions made difficult by wind and dust, Loic Duval improved his previous day’s time by three-tenths of a second. He is ahead by more than a tenth of the Englishman Robbie Kerr and the German Christian Vietoris, who returns after having given up his seat to Mickael Ammermuller since the start of the season.

Switzerland, leading the championship, achieved the 4th best time with Neel Jani. He encountered mechanical problems at the beginning of the session but was able to get back on track without issue afterward. He is ahead of Johnny Reid, the New Zealander on home ground.

China, Canada (author at exactly the same time), Brazil, Australia, and the Netherlands complete the top 10.

It should also be noted that some of them went off track, mainly due to the wind. This is the case for Jeroen Bleekemolen (Team Netherlands), Sergio Jiménez (Team Brazil), and Narain Karthikeyan (Team India), who only managed the 14th fastest time.

South Africa and the Czech Republic, on the other hand, disappoint. They are ranked 18th and 21st, respectively.
