BMW rejoiced over its third day of testing in Valencia, Spain.

The German team, which has been testing its new F1.08 all week with Kubica, Heidfeld, and Asmer, expressed satisfaction at being able to complete the planned program today, which was not the case yesterday, mainly due to poor weather conditions.

The wind was gusty again today, but only in the afternoon. Nick Heidfeld was able to complete 117 laps of the circuit, studying changes to aerodynamics and mechanics.

Nick Heidfeld was the man tasked with working with the new car, covering a total of 117 laps as the team began making changes to the mechanics and aerodynamics to check the car’s reactions.

Meanwhile, Marko Asmer drove the old single-seater, the F1.07B, as he did yesterday. He completed 76 laps, but the team did not wish to disclose any times.

The British F3 driver, likely to be officially announced as the third driver soon, will be replaced tomorrow on short notice by Robert Kubica, while Nick Heidfeld will continue his program on the F1.08.
