Bernie Ecclestone created his traditional Christmas card at the end of 2007. This one turns out to be very special during this season marked by the Ferrari-McLaren espionage affair.
The F1 boss prepares a personalized Christmas card every year, which he then sends to his friends and closest associates.
The former journalist Roger Benoit, known for his long collaboration with Ecclestone, described the 2007 edition of this card as very special…
On the front of the card, there is a drawing depicting Ron Dennis trembling with fear in front of a gift wrapped with the prancing horse logo, offered to him by Mike Coughlan.
« Sorry, I can’t accept it, try the conventional method, » said Dennis. Coughlan has ears shaped like parabolic antennas mounted on the Ferrari and McLaren factories, allowing them to communicate with each other.
And Coughlan has behind him Nigel Stepney, who is responsible for the disclosure of some 780 pages from Ferrari.
A sense of humor that is sure to ruffle some feathers!
