Taking advantage of the generous support from Steven Vergalle, François Duval will be at the starting line of the Monte-Carlo Rally driving a Ford Focus RS WRC 07 for the British team Stobart. The outcome will determine the rest of his season.
François Duval will be co-driven by Eddy Chevaillier and seems more than delighted with this registration: “It’s a real gift from heaven,” says the Belgian, ready to celebrate Christmas.
« I owe this gift, in large part, to Steven Vergalle who, in a private capacity, decided to support me. I eagerly await the first trials. I hope this collaboration will continue. A good result at Monte-Carlo will be needed to relaunch my career at the highest level. »
Steven Vergalle will sponsor one of his companies at the same time and had already allowed Pieter Tsjoen to participate in the 2006 Monte Carlo Rally. He has been supporting Belgian drivers for many years.
François Duval will be testing very soon in Ardèche and Drôme for trials on the Monte Carlo roads, just as Sébastien Loeb did today at the wheel of the ‘new’ C4.
