Still third, Sébastien Loeb takes no risks. This position would assure him of a world title in 24 hours. But this approach to the race leaves the Citroën driver wanting more.

« We tried to find the rhythm that worked well for us yesterday, » said Sebastien Loeb at noon.

The gaps have widened with the drivers ahead of us, but that doesn’t worry me. It’s normal since we are not taking any risks. On these beautiful stages where in previous years we could really enjoy driving, I had to maintain a safety margin and it was a bit frustrating. However, if in the end there is a title, it’s worth it.

Sébastien Loeb is more than a minute behind Mikko Hirvonen before the last three stages.
