The Motor Sport Business Forum now in Bahrain

Bahrain will host its own Motor Sport Business Forum next April as part of a new five-year contract.

The event will take place at the Sakhir circuit on April 1st and 2nd and hopes to follow in the footsteps of Monaco, which has hosted it until now and where the event proved to be a tremendous success.

The founder of this Business Forum, Simon Berger, stated: « The fact that it is now Bahrain that will host this event is an important step forward for the Forum, and we are very happy about it. »

« This is all the more interesting as it takes place in the Middle East because motorsport is increasingly taken into consideration and its popularity grows year after year. »

The emphasis is on sports in the region because businesses are aware of its overall impact and commercial opportunities.

Martin Whitaker, the chief executive officer of the Bahrain International Circuit added: « Motorsport has made a leap forward in the region and now has a strong commercial presence. »

« First of all with the new development projects, as well as sponsorship which is booming and partnership initiatives. »

The organization of the Motor Sport Business Forum in the Middle East, particularly in Bahrain, is proof that the sport and the automotive industry are expanding in the region.

This event will be an opportunity to show companies based in the region the global possibilities for partnerships with the automotive industry, he concluded.
