Adrian Sutil insisted that his future in F1 lies with Force India regarding the next season. He therefore ruled out joining any other team in 2008.
Sutil signed a contract for the medium to long term last year, but in recent weeks, his name has been linked to other players in the F1 world like Toyota or McLaren at some point.
Since the awards ceremony in Germany by the ADAC club, Sutil specified that he had not looked for any other teams for 2008. The only thing that matters to him now is finding out the name of his teammate at Force India.
He believes that the choice will be between Christian Klien and Vitantonio Liuzzi, both of whom participated in the recent private tests in Barcelona earlier this month.
« I have a contract with Force India for 2008 and I’m not looking elsewhere. The team, with its new owner, is in a situation where it will choose an experienced driver and not a driver interested only in his salary, » he stated.
« In my opinion, I think the choice will be between Klien and Liuzzi. Both have recently done an excellent job in Barcelona. Both drivers deserve to be in F1, while others who are there only for the money should not have a place, » concluded Sutil.
