Fourth in Corsica, Jari-Matti Latvala is delighted to return to asphalt. However, the Stobart VK M-Sport Ford driver especially hopes for dry weather to avoid having to tackle the formidable Irish roads in the rain.
« It will certainly be a very interesting rally! In 2003, I participated in the British Rally Championship driving a Focus WRC. It was a great experience. I achieved good results that give me confidence before tackling these bumpy and dirty roads. I have never participated in this event, but I have done a few rallies in the region. So I have a clear idea of what awaits us. »
My only concern remains the weather, adds the Finn. If it rains, everything can become very difficult and really slippery. So I really hope the weather stays dry during the rally!
