Formula 1 unveils schedule for 2026 season

The drivers and teams are preparing to begin this campaign marked by the implementation of new technical regulations and the use of 100% sustainable next-generation fuels.

Australia in the opening

The season will begin with the Australian Grand Prix on the weekend of March 6-8, and will conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from December 4-6. During the year, F1 will cover five of the seven continents.

In 2026, Ramadan will take place in February and March, which means that the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will once again be held in April.

The calendar presents better geographical coherence, notably with the Canadian Grand Prix moved up to May 22-24, right after the Miami event. This change will allow for optimized logistics, with some shipments able to go directly from one event to another.

This change creates a tighter European block during the summer months, starting in Monaco (June 5-7) and ending in Spain, with the addition of Madrid to the calendar from September 11-13.

The championship will then continue in Asia with the Azerbaijan and Singapore Grand Prix, before an American tour of three races. The season will end with the Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
