Doriane Pin returns to competition this weekend in Barcelona
Just under a month after withdrawing from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Doriane Pin will be driving again. She is due to take part in the F1 Academy in Barcelona this weekend.
It’s a decision she would have avoided taking. At the end of May, Doriane Pin announced in a video that she was suffering from fractured ribs. An injury that explained her non-participation in the second FRECA race at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Also her absence from the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Iron Dames. A race she was still able to follow from home.
One week after her teammates’ fifth place behind the wheel of the Lamborghini #85, the young French woman will make her comeback behind a steering wheel. Mercedes, her team, has revealed that she will make her return to competition. This weekend, Doriane Pin is expected at the F1 Academy in Barcelona.

Information confirmed by the driver herself through a simple tweet. “Let this race week begin,” she simply wrote with a photo of herself ready to board the plane.
