Sebastian Vettel will drive Ayrton Senna’s McLaren in Imola
The four-time Formula 1 world champion will make his comeback behind the wheel at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix. He will drive Ayrton Senna's McLaren used during the 1993 championship.
One of the most beautiful tributes that can exist. It is through a video published on his Instagram account that Sebastian Vettel announced the news. The former Aston Martin driver will return to the track for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix on May 19th.
That day, the German will not be on the starting grid but will perform a demonstration. He will drive Ayrton Senna’s McLaren MP4/8. With this single-seater, the Brazilian took part in the 1993 World Championship. A season notably marked by his memorable victory in Donington, in the rain.

These few laps will have a great significance. Because it was on this same track in Imola that the triple world champion lost his life on May 1, 1994.
