An unpublished photograph of Ayrton Senna to be auctioned
On May 11 in Saint-Tropez, an auction will be held in aid of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque. Among the various lots, photos of classic cars and a previously unpublished photo of Ayrton Senna dating from 1991.
Car enthusiasts will be able to feast. As part of an auction sale, motorsport enthusiasts will be able to acquire genuine collector’s items. On Saturday, May 11, the Grand Prix Photo association will organize an auction sale that will benefit Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque.
Around thirty lots will be offered. Among them, a photo by Pierre-Olivier Deschamps. The professional photographed a Ferrari Dino 206 S. His colleague, Axel Ruhomaully, will offer a photo from the Ferrari museum in Italy.
Finally, Bruno des Gayets, a photographer based in the Roanne area, in the Loire, will have one of his works for sale: a unique photo of Ayrton Senna. It was taken in 1991 during private tests in Hockenheim, Germany. « No one else is visible in it, that’s what makes it unique. Usually, someone always walks in front. There, we only see him », he pointed out to Pays Roannais.
All photos will be visible from May 6, at the Jean-Despas hall, in Saint-Tropez. In the meantime, it is possible to ogle them on the website Internet of the auction sale. For those who cannot attend in person, the sale will be accessible online.
According to the artworks, the estimates may vary. Some photos should go for 500 €, others around 5,000 €.
