Williams finally arrives in Bahrain with a modern steering wheel incorporating the screen
The British team has evolved its steering wheel for the 2024 season, moving closer to the standards of other teams by abandoning its historic butterfly steering wheel.
For 2024, the Williams team will use a new steering wheel integrating its control screen. Finally. It is the only team that has been using a steering wheel with a detached screen so far, fixed on the cockpit and not on the axis.

From now on, the steering wheel will have a design closer to that of the other teams.
Williams did not settle for a traditional steering wheel, as it was lightened to the maximum to save weight, especially on the lower part. It ended up being triangular, whereas the steering wheels of other teams are flat or rounded.
