To start this review of the best tweets, nothing beats a good dose of blue, white, and red! Théo Pourchaire has become the champion of Formula 2, the first French since the name change in 2017. He succeeds Felipe Drugovich in 2022, and Pierre Gasly among the French in 2016!

Victor Martins has won the title of « best rookie », crowned in F3 last year, he finished 5th in the F2 championship: a successful first season!

The transition from F1 to F2 for many of the reserve drivers must have been tough. Indeed, after FP1, they immediately got into their F2 cars for the qualifying session that took place a few minutes later!

One of the controversies of this weekend, the overtakes made by Max Verstappen in the pit lane. Click here to find our dedicated article and understand everything about this situation.

The cutest picture of the entire weekend without a doubt. The kindness of Kevin Magnussen’s daughter, named Laura, was definitely worthy of a spot in the top tweet of the weekend.

On the sporting side, it was one of the major challenges of the last weekend of the season. Four drivers were tied with 12 points, vying for the fourth place in the championship. In the end, Fernando Alonso finished tied with Charles Leclerc, and here again, the situation is complex… It was thanks to the number of third-place finishes that they were able to be separated! The Spanish driver has 2 more than the Monegasque driver, securing him the 4th place in the driver’s championship.

Carlos Sainz and Ferrari waited a long time for the famous safety car. No luck, despite a strong probability of seeing it appear, it ultimately never came, ruining Ferrari’s strategy.

The other sporting issue of the weekend was to determine whether Mercedes or Ferrari would finish 2nd in the constructors’ championship. There were 4 points that separated the two teams before the race. Charles Leclerc, who was ahead of Sergio Pérez and George Russell, attempted a clever strategic move. He intentionally let Perez pass, knowing that a 5-second penalty would be added to his time after the race, in order for the Mexican to finish ahead of George Russell… are you following? It was an unsuccessful gamble for Charles Leclerc, but he tried everything to bring that 2nd place in the constructor’s championship back to Maranello!

Come on, nothing better to say goodbye than a nice little picture: the now traditional end-of-season meal between the drivers. You’ll have to wait until March for the return of the top tweets!
