The Ferrari drivers with a special helmet at Monza
To celebrate the Scuderia's home Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have each unveiled a special helmet for Monza.
A special livery. A unique combination. And original helmets. No doubts, Ferrari will be right at home for the next Grand Prix. The Scuderia drivers have just presented one by one their helmet for the Italian Grand Prix.
The first one to reveal it is Carlos Sainz. The Spaniard will sport a helmet with a decoration typical of the 70s. Sponsors and colors included. His number, 55, will be displayed prominently on the sides of his helmet, with a typography typical of that era.
On his side, Charles Leclerc has opted for a design closer to what Ferrari will be showcasing this weekend. That means references to the 499P, the car that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year. His helmet will be entirely composed of yellow. Only his race number, 16, will be a different color as it will be adorned in the colors of the Monegasque flag.
As a reminder, as was already the case last year, the Scuderia will come to Monza with a special livery. This one recalls the Ferrari that was victorious at the centenary of Le Mans. Yellow and red suits, reminiscent of those worn by the winning crew, have also been designed.
