The works of the Las Vegas Grand Prix will soon be completed
By October, the structure of the paddock will be completed, ready to welcome the F1 cars as well as the public by mid-November.
The countdown is on. In a few weeks now, Formula 1 will officially return to Las Vegas. From November 16th to 18th, the Grand Prix in the Sin City will make its comeback, 41 years after its last edition.
This year, the cars will use the strip and some adjustments have been necessary. Particularly, the construction of a paddock. « The plans specify that the 300,000 square feet paddock structure will be completed by early October », announced Terry Miller, who is overseeing the construction of the paddock building.
« We respect the schedule and we plan for the project to be completed by the end of September, October 1st at the latest for our initial move-in. The only permanent structure is the paddock building. Everything else will be temporary. »
There is not much time left to complete the arrangements that will accommodate the 105,000 people daily by mid-November.
