Ferrari with new engines in Canada
The Scuderia has decided to install new engines on its drivers' race cars.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will have extremely powerful engines for the remainder of the weekend in Canada. The two drivers have received a new Ferrari engine for this weekend in Montreal. This is the third power unit they have used this season. If they are not penalized, the punishment is looming dangerously close.
Yuki Tsunoda and Alexander Albon are also using a third internal combustion engine this season. They also have a new turbocharger and brand new MGU-K and MGU-H.
The announcement has not yet been made official, but Nico Hülkenberg is expected to also receive many parts following his breakdown yesterday during the second free practice session. The FIA should communicate shortly after the start of the third session.
