Sergio Perez still believes in the championship after the nightmare in Monaco

This weekend, in the streets of the Principality of Monaco, Sergio Perez experienced a difficult Grand Prix. These complications began with the mistake of the current second-place driver in the championship during qualifying. On the first corner of his second flying lap in Q2, the Mexican lost control of his car.

« I still have hope, nonetheless. But now I know that I can no longer afford to score zero points during a weekend. I genuinely hope to be back at the top of my game in Barcelona, Sergio Perez continued.

The Mexican must now turn the page on this disappointing weekend from a performance and accounting perspective. After his mistake on Saturday, Sergio Perez knew that his weekend would turn against him. « I knew that my mistake would be detrimental and would cost me dearly.
