Charles Leclerc penalized in Monaco

At home, he is unlucky. Between retirements, accidents in qualifying, and strategic mistakes, he was missing the grid penalty. Unfortunately, that has just been added now for Charles Leclerc.

Author of the third time, the Monegasque held his breath as he was not sure to retain this position for the starting grid of the Monaco Grand Prix. The FIA launched an investigation against the Ferrari driver because he was suspected of hindering Lando Norris on a fast lap.

After several hours of deliberation, the commissioners declared him guilty and penalized him with a three-place grid penalty. He will start sixth as a result. Therefore, Esteban Ocon, Carlos Sainz, and Lewis Hamilton all gain a position.
