Two fines for Lance Stroll in Miami
The Aston Martin driver was caught speeding in the pit lane twice during the second free practice session.
During the second practice session, the Aston Martin driver was caught by the patrol twice. Within a short half-hour interval.
The first one at the beginning of the session where he was caught at 80.3 km/h. The second one in the middle of the session at 83.5 km/h, instead of the 80 allowed.
For these two offenses, Lance Stroll will have to open his wallet and give the sum of 500 € to the FIA. He will not lose any points on his Super license.
Note that each kilometer per hour exceeding the 80 km/h limit in place in the pit lane in Miami will result in a financial penalty of 100 €, up to a maximum of 1000 € per offense.
