The new original helmet of Lando Norris in Miami
Many drivers will participate in the Miami Grand Prix sporting special designed helmets. Particularly Lando Norris.
Lando Norris has joined a few other drivers who have embraced the Miami Grand Prix by creating their own helmet for the race.
The McLaren driver has created a “beach ball” themed design as a tribute to the famous Miami Beach in southern Florida, after last year’s basketball design became a fan favorite.
“We tried to do better than the basketball, which was the fans’ favorite last year, so we had to try to find something that could compete with it, which is not easy,” Norris told the media.
We found a beach ball, so just something fun, you know, it’s a nice place to do something like that. And I wouldn’t say it’s a trend of something I’ll do every year here, but yes, people seemed to have enjoyed it last year. So we wanted to do the same thing.
He was joined by several others, including Max Verstappen, Esteban Ocon, and Alex Albon, who revealed the design of his helmet with his girlfriend and professional golfer, Muni He.
