Ralf Schumacher back behind the wheel of a Williams BMW F1 during the MotoGP Portuguese Grand Prix
The German driver will take the wheel of his Williams BMW twice, during the Portuguese Grand Prix of Moto GP, in Portimao, which takes place from the 24th to the 26th of March.
A season opening in all its beauty. For the first event of 2023, the Moto GP has planned something big. At the Portimao circuit in Portugal, not only will the motorcycles be there, but also the four-wheel vehicles. Ralf Schumacher, Michael’s brother, will be present to perform two demonstrations.
The German will take the wheel of a Williams BMW, the FW25, on Saturday at 11:45 am and another one on Sunday between the Moto2 and Moto GP races. This is the chassis that allowed the German driver to win at the Nurburgring and Magny-Cours in 2003.
The race car is powered by a V10 engine reaching up to 19,300 revolutions per minute and producing over 900 horsepower.
Ralph Schuamcher drove in Formula 1 for 11 seasons, completing 180 Grand Prix aboard several Formula 1 cars built by Jordan, Williams, and Toyota before ending his career in 2007.
