Video: Monaco begins its transformation as the Grand Prix approaches
The construction work for the Monaco Grand Prix started at the beginning of March. It is expected to last for seven weeks.
It is a long and impressive construction site. Every year, the Monégasques witness the parade of machinery to install grandstands, booths, and other walkways in the principality. Several thousand seats and around twenty garages are set up for only a few days.
On March 6th, men and their machines started to occupy the port of the city and Quai Albert I. For approximately seven weeks, they will set up all the necessary equipment to accommodate the Formula E (on May 6th) first, followed by the Formula 1 (on May 28th).
