The summary of the first testing session in Bahrain

Max Verstappen has set the fastest time of the morning in 1’32″959. He is ahead of Carlos Sainz and Alexander Albon, who has been the most consistent with 74 laps completed.

These three drivers have covered approximately 400 kilometers, which already shows a great reliability. Guanyu Zhou is in fourth place ahead of George Russell and Nico Hülkenberg. Oscar Piastri is at the bottom with a time of 1’34”888. Despite a mechanical issue at the beginning of the session, Felipe Drugovich still managed to complete 40 laps.

This afternoon, only Verstappen remains on the track, as the nine other drivers are giving their spot to their teammate. Follow the session live from 1pm to 5:30pm (French time).
