Zhou Guanyu unveils a different helmet for 2023
The Chinese driver shared on social media the design of his helmet for his second season in Formula 1. Purple occupies a significant portion of its protection.
Lots of purple, a few yellow stripes, and a touch of orange. That’s the color scheme of Zhou Guanyu’s new helmet. On social media, the Alfa Romeo driver shared some pictures of his 2023 edition helmet.
This one, from the Bell brand, prominently displays the Alfa Romeo logo just above the visor. A yellow and orange stripe quickly recalls the design of Lewis Hamilton’s helmet. The man who will be competing in his second Formula 1 season has also added Chinese patterns here and there.
The back of the helmet is a tribute to Zhou Guanyu’s hometown, Shanghai. The Chinese driver chose to display some of the skyscrapers of China’s largest city.
