Alpine announces the launch date of the 2023 race car!
Alpine is the fourth Formula 1 team to have announced the launch date of its car. The A523, driven by the two Frenchmen Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, will be unveiled in London on February 16, 2023.
With the beginning of the year 2023, the return of Formula 1 is highly anticipated! For the past few weeks, all the teams have been working on developing the new car. As the season starts on February 23rd with testing days in Bahrain, the first Grand Prix will take place on the weekend of March 5th, 2023.
The announcement of the launch of the Alpine single-seater adds to those of Aston Martin (on February 13th), AlphaTauri (on February 11th), and Ferrari (on February 14th). The French team will unveil its new car on February 16th, 2023 in London. And this upcoming season will be very important for the team that seemed to be dealing with an unstable car and not mastering its reliability.
Besides the relational difficulties between the two French teammates, a new element sparked controversy among fans, especially the French ones. As a French team with French drivers, fans of the Formula 1 team expected a French launch as well. Some mentioned a car reveal under the Eiffel Tower, for example! It’s disappointing that it took place in England.
