Lewis Hamilton voted Driver of the Day in Brazil
The Briton drove a great race, battling for victory with his team-mate right up to the end.
He could have lost everything in the early laps of the race. Lewis Hamilton, after the restart following the first safety car, made contact with Max Verstappen and lost aerodynamic components. The British driver also lost several positions.
But, on his new Brazilian lands, the seven-time world champion picked up the pace to overtake one by one his competitors. In the final laps, he battled with his teammate for victory, but the young driver number 63 ultimately prevailed.
Lewis Hamilton once again finishes on the podium but was unable to win. However, his performance on Ayrton Senna’s home turf allowed him to be elected Driver of the Day by the fans.
