Max Verstappen has boycotted Sky Sports in Mexico
The reigning double world champion did not appreciate the comments made by a journalist from the channel.
Words that are displeasing and an immediate punishment from Max Verstappen. After the United States Grand Prix, journalist Ted Kravitz called the Dutchman’s first championship title “stolen.”
Hamilton doesn’t win a single race all year, then finally returns to a track where he could win the first race of the year, facing the same guy who won the race where he was robbed the previous year, and manages to finish ahead of him.
« What a scenario and what a story that would have been. But that’s not how the plot unfolded today, is it? »
Because the guy who beat him after being robbed actually overtook him, as he has a faster car, because of engineering, Formula 1, and design, and somewhat thanks to Adrian Newey, Ted Kravitz said live.
These remarks did not sit well with the Dutchman, who made it known that he would not grant any interviews to the Sky Sports channel, of which Ted Kravitz is a member.
This is not the first time that the Red Bull driver has a grudge against someone in this industry. The double world champion had also boycotted Drive to Survive before making his appearance again for the upcoming season, which is expected to be released shortly before the inaugural race in 2023.
