Small fine for Lance Stroll for speeding
The Canadian drove too fast in the pit lane.
Lance Stroll wanted to lose as little time as possible in the pit stops. Unfortunately, he is going to lose some bucks in his bank account. During the third free practice session, the Aston Martin driver was caught speeding in the pit lane.
This speed limit is set at 80 km/h and the driver was caught at 80.1 km/h. This very slight exceeding of the authorized limit will cost him a small sum of 100 €.
Lance Stroll will also start last in the Grand Prix, following the penalty he received a week ago after being deemed responsible for the spectacular accident with Fernando Alonso in the United States.
