Sophia Floersch behind the wheel of Damon Hill’s Brabham, at the end of November
The young German driver will participate in the Gulf Historic in Dubai from November 25th to 27th. She will be driving the 1992 Brabham F1.
Sophia Floersch will be behind the wheel of a historic F1 car. The current endurance driver with Algarve Pro Racing and in the DTM will leave her own vehicles for one weekend to experience a Formula 1 car.
From November 25th to 27th, one of the few women to race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans will take the wheel of the 1992 Brabham in Dubai. This single-seater has been piloted by the 1996 World Champion Damon Hill and Giovanna Amati, among others. Sophia Floersch will make the 750 horsepower V10 Judd engine roar.
This car did not start in only three races and was entered in 11 events on the schedule. None of the drivers managed to score any points with this car. The team finished in 15th place in the constructors’ championship in 1992.
