Sergio Perez and Guanyu Zhou are getting a new engine
The two drivers are being equipped with a fifth engine this season.
They will need to add them five penalty places. This weekend, in the United States, Sergio Perez and Guanyu Zhou installed a fifth engine on their car. For once again exceeding the allowed quota for the season, they are therefore receiving a five-place penalty.
Sergio Perez will have to achieve very good qualifying results and a very good race to secure as many points as possible in order to enable his team to win the constructor’s title in Austin.
Currently, the Mexican is in second place in the world championship. He is closely followed by Charles Leclerc, one point behind him.
