Hackers target Ferrari and publish confidential documents

It’s a massive leak. For several weeks, major global companies and even hospitals have been victims of a data theft. This time, Ferrari is the victim.

According to Cubersecurity360, the Italian company has been a victim of a 7 GB data leak, which represents approximately 11,000 documents. The entirety of these documents has been uploaded online. Among them are confidential reservation contracts, technical files, addresses, as well as marketing service contents.

Ferrari, on its side, assures that it had no evidence of a possible breach in its computer security systems.

Ferrari is aware that some media have reported the potential loss of information by Ferrari and the presence of certain documents online. Ferrari has no evidence of a breach of its systems or ransomware and informs that there has been no disruption to its activities and operations. The company is working to identify the source of the incident and will take all necessary measures, assured the communications director to the specialized website Red Hot Cyber.

If Ferrari as such has been attacked, there is no information whether this data leak partially or entirely concerns the sports management of the company.
