The pre-season trials will take place in Bahrain
The Bahrain Circuit announced that from February 23rd to 25th, the single-seaters will be driving on its track for the winter tests.
It’s not really a surprise. On the calendar for 18 years, the Sakhir circuit has been hosting the Bahrain Grand Prix and occasionally welcomes some winter testing sessions, as was the case this year.
For 2023, here we go again, as the track in the Middle East has confirmed the news on social media. We are ready to host the F1 2023 pre-season tests from February 23rd to 25th! More exciting details to come soon! This year, the pre-season tests will only consist of one round.
A few days later, from March 3rd to 5th, this same circuit will host the first Grand Prix of this new season. It’s always a great honor to welcome the elite of motor racing in Bahrain, and the test sessions will add to the excitement preceding the Bahrain F1 Grand Prix, which will kick off the season, praised the commercial director of the track, Sherif Al Mahdy.
For now, no winter testing session is scheduled in Barcelona, as usual, but not all announcements have been made yet.
