And… Action! The world of Formula 1 is taking up more and more space on streaming platforms. After Senna, Schumacher, Rush, and Drive to Survive, another character from the sport will have their own documentary.

The actor Keanu Reeves is said to be preparing a documentary series about Ross Brawn. The latter bought Honda in 2009 and managed to win the constructors’ and drivers’ titles with Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.

We want to tell this incredible remarkable story [of Brawn GP], there is so much to say.

It was really great to be able to learn more about what was happening in Formula 1 that year. It wasn’t just about the cars, the new regulations, the FOTA. I mean, there was so much going on in Formula 1 at that time. The world of Formula 1 was simply extraordinary. I mean, it’s always extraordinary, but that year with Brawn GP, I think something really special happened.

The work would have already started.

One of my friends was telling me the story and I was so struck by it, and he was actually working for Brawn at the time in advertising, and he is a producer/director. So we thought, well let’s tell this story, let’s try to tell this story, confirmed the actor during his presence at Silverstone.

According to the magazine Variety, which is the source of this information, Keanu Reeves has already conducted several interviews for his production, which will be divided into four parts.

Thus, Luca di Montezemolo, the former drivers of the team, and the main person involved would have already appeared in front of the cameras.

The representatives of Disney+ have not confirmed the information from Variety, which estimates that the first broadcast will be scheduled for autumn 2023.
