Alfa Romeo and Haas break the curfew
The two teams worked very late into the night and used their first wildcard.
There have been a few extra hours worked by the mechanics of two teams. The FIA revealed this afternoon that the Alfa Romeo and Haas teams stayed after 11pm (start of the curfew) to continue working in their respective garages, for the Canada GP.
Both teams have used up their first season’s joker, as between Friday and Saturday, all teams are allowed to break the curfew twice.
Their nocturnal work will therefore have no impact whatsoever on the Helvetians or the Americans, who will not receive any penalties.
