The French driver drove too fast in the pit lane and received a fine.
The first fine of the weekend didn’t take long to arrive. And it was the Frenchman Pierre Gasly who received it. During the first free practice session, the driver was speeding in the pit lane.
Indeed, the AlphaTauri adorned with the number 10 was caught at 82.5 km/h in the pit lane, where the maximum authorized speed is 80 km/h, as indicated by document 18 of the FIA regarding the Canadian Grand Prix.
For this infraction, the winner of the Monza 2020 GP will have to pay €300.
