Seven teams make improvements in Monaco, not Ferrari

If Monaco is not the most lively Grand Prix in terms of overtakes, it is certainly the one that offers the biggest challenge to drivers. In order to try to tame the tight turns of the Monaco circuit, seven teams are making changes.

Red Bull is bringing new front suspensions specifically for this race to offer more agility to the RB18. This choice is being imitated by McLaren, Alpine, AlphaTauri, Williams, and Haas. The Austrian team will also have a new brake cooling system, similar to Williams and Mercedes. The eight-time world constructors’ champions will also have a modified front wing to increase grip.

It is McLaren that brings the most upgrades with new coolers for the rear brakes, a new rearview mirror, and new cooling slots for the bodywork, in addition to the front suspensions. In contrast, Ferrari remains with the same car as in Barcelona, as well as Alfa Romeo and Aston Martin.
