The Canadian narrowly missed hitting a McLaren that was coming at that moment. This penalty will have no impact on his starting position for the sixth round of the World Championship in Spain.
Lance Stroll is the first driver of the weekend to receive a fine. Before him, six drivers were summoned during the first part of the Hispanic event, and four received a reprimand.
