During the Australian Grand Prix, Max Verstappen's RB18 once again failed him in terms of reliability. According to former Formula 1 driver Timo Glock, the best thing the Dutchman can do is to be patient.

Max Verstappen “must be patient”

With 23 Grand Prix in one season and new technical regulations, the improvements that the teams will implement throughout the races promise to be more significant than in previous years. However, if Red Bull wants to return to its glory days, it will have to evolve faster than Ferrari, who is in great form in the first three Grand Prix.

For former Formula 1 driver Tim Glock, Red Bull is not known for handling technical issues. « It is necessary to find the causes of these errors », he affirms. « Red Bull is not accustomed to this. In recent years, the team has had no technical problems. They must analyze the reason for this. However, this remains the worst possible scenario because they have already lost far too many points at the beginning of the season. »

So far, the Dutch driver has experienced two retirements in just three races. In both cases, it was the reliability of the RB18 that failed, which greatly frustrates Max Verstappen. This is why Tim Glock advises him to be patient.

Of course, Max Verstappen is very irritated because of this issue and threatens to lose patience, explains the former driver. But he must keep it. He has a car that works well and with which he can fight for the championship. But Red Bull will have to solve its problems as quickly as possible.

In the constructor standings, Red Bull has 55 points, far from the Scuderia’s 104 at the top of the table. As for the drivers, Max Verstappen only has 25 points and is in sixth place (compared to Charles Leclerc’s 71, his championship rival).
