Certainly, the problems are piling up for the American Haas team. With one less driver and a sponsor to reimburse, the team has fallen behind in Bahrain. And for good reason.

The day before yesterday, the plane that was supposed to transport Haas’ cars broke down in Turkey. As a result, all the necessary equipment for the team ended up being stuck in England, and the team found themselves in the unknown, unsure if they would be able to participate in the first trials.

And if Haas has finally received the missing parts, they are significantly behind in their preparation compared to the other teams in the paddock.

The spokesperson for Haas confirmed the successful reception of the equipment. They stated, “I can confirm that our shipment arrived late last night in Bahrain. This delay directly impacts our program, but we are doing our best to be on track for the second session this Thursday afternoon, with Pietro Fittipaldi at the helm of the VF-22,” revealed the spokesperson.

Meanwhile, the second full-time driver for the team alongside Mick Schumacher has still not been revealed. Although Brazilian Pietro Fittipaldi will be on track during the tests, Gene Haas recently admitted that he is looking for a more experienced driver for the 2022 season.
