Kimi Räikkönen announces his return to Russia
Tested positive on the eve of the Dutch Grand Prix and absent also for the Italian Grand Prix, Kimi Räikkönen will return to the wheel of his Alfa Romeo in Russia
Robert Kubica’s interim lasted for two races. Kimi Räikkönen finally announced his return on his Instagram account: “Everything is fine, see you at the next Grand Prix.”
Before retiring, the Finnish driver still has seven Formula 1 races to compete in. He will leave his steering wheel to his compatriot Valtteri Bottas in 2022. As a reminder, Kimi Räikkönen has made, so far, 342 starts with 21 wins, 18 pole positions, 103 podiums and 1 world championship title in 2007 with Ferrari.
