The touching image of the Hungarian Grand Prix
The other strong image of this incredible race was the emotion of George Russell after scoring his first points for Williams.
George Russell finished in eighth place in the Grand Prix, after Sebastian Vettel’s disqualification, and finally scored his first points for the Grove team after 46 starts for it.
As a reminder, the British driver has been part of the team since 2019 and after many outstanding performances in qualifying, he has finally delivered in the race.
The young English driver could not hold back his tears in front of the journalists after the race.
This arrival in the points is a culmination for him and the satisfaction of having achieved an important goal for this historic team.
To top it all off, Nicholas Latifi also scored points, allowing the team to be in eighth place in the World Championship.
