Sauber: Jorg Zander leaves his position with immediate effect
The technical director of Sauber, Jorg Zander, has left his position with immediate effect after only four Grand Prix in 2018.
Since Frédéric Vasseur took over as the head of the Sauber team’s sports management, the Swiss structure has continuously renewed itself internally. After the arrival a few weeks ago of a new head aerodynamicist, Jan Monchaux, today the team at Hinxill faces a departure.
Jord Zander, Technical Director of the team since the beginning of the 2017 season, after a stint between 2006 and 2007, is therefore leaving his position with immediate effect.
No reason has been announced by the team, which limited itself to releasing a simple statement indicating that the new organization chart would be announced soon.
