The price of F1 TV Pro revealed to increase in France
After discussing prices around $8 to $12 per month when unveiling F1 TV Pro, the actual rates, country by country, have been revealed. And this is sure to make French fans grumble.
As you were informed yesterday in this article, F1 TV Pro is expected to launch this Thursday in a large number of countries with different options, between F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Access. It is already possible to subscribe to F1 TV Access on the official Formula 1 website.
The announced rates, between 8 and 12 dollars per month, have nevertheless been increased in many countries, notably in France. This is likely due to the renegotiation of the contract with Canal+ for the broadcast of Formula 1 and the use of the channel’s French commentary. The channel has also removed its Canal plus F1 app. Therefore, it will be necessary to subscribe to the full Canal+ package to enjoy all the sessions.
Regarding F1 TV Pro, the prices will be 18.99 euros per month in France, or 169.99 euros for an annual subscription. That’s almost double compared to our German neighbors, with prices at 7.99 euros per month or 64.99 euros per year.
F1 TV Access will be available for 2.99 euros per month, or 26.99 annually. However, this application does not offer any live content.
