Official: Haas presents the VF18
Haas team was ahead of the pack by being the first to present their 2018 car. The VF18, equipped with the Ferrari power unit, will make its first laps on February 26th, driven by Romain Grosjean.
The Haas team is finally the first to unveil the colors of its 2018 car. The VF18, equipped with the latest Ferrari power unit, is therefore the first car to be officially presented this year.
It is distinguished from its predecessor by the absence of the shark fin, now banned, and by the addition of the Halo, which makes its appearance this season.
The colors of this VF18, leaning towards lighter tones, are reminiscent of the livery of the 2016 car that marked the American team’s entry into Formula 1.
This new single-seater will be entrusted to Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen for the second consecutive season. It is the Frenchman who will have the honor of taking the first laps behind the wheel of the car in Barcelona for the first day of winter testing of the year on February 26th.
