French GP: The roadshow in Marseille is expected to take place around the Mucem
It is around the Mucem in Marseille that the Formula 1 exhibition is expected to take place a few days before the French Grand Prix at the Castellet circuit next June.
On the sidelines of the French Grand Prix of Formula 1 next June, Marseille will host a roadshow in its streets similar to the one seen this year in the streets of London.
If the event has indeed been confirmed, the date and location have not yet been officially defined. However, it seems that this exhibition will take place near the Mucem, the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations, created in 2013 on the J4 esplanade, between the Autonomous Port and the Old Port, offering a stunning view of the harbor and Notre Dame de la Garde in the background.
It was during the GIP general assembly that Alain Roatta, deputy mayor of Marseille and member of the group, announced: “The mayor agrees. We have not yet met the organizers of the FOM, but we are currently working on the location, which should be around the Mucem, and on security issues. We have to do it, it will be very attractive for the city,” he declared to our colleagues from La Provence.
So, exit the city center or the Corniche for this large gathering, which is therefore oriented more towards the North of the city, in full expansion, with the Joliette district near the Docks and the Terrasses du Port shopping center.
