The schedule for the 2017/2018 Formula E Championship season is now official and will see the grid head to three new destinations: Santiago, Chile, Sao Paulo, and Rome. In total, season 4 will consist of 14 races spread over 11 destinations. In fact, the races in Hong Kong, Montreal, and New York will be double-headers. Additionally, the Chinese race will be held later than in the past, starting in early December, to minimize large gaps between the various rounds of the championship.

Like this year, the races in Marrakech, Mexico, Paris, New York, and Montreal will still take place next season.

Although the schedule is official, two races are still subject to confirmation. The German round of the championship will be held either in Berlin or Munich on April 19. The last uncertainty concerns the race that will take place on June 9 either in Moscow or for the first time on the streets of Zurich.

Note that five races will clash with a Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend. Indeed, the Rome e-Prix will take place the same weekend as the Bahrain Grand Prix, the Paris e-Prix as the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the Moscow or Zurich e-Prix as the Canadian Grand Prix, the New York e-Prix as the British Grand Prix, and finally, the Montreal e-Prix will be held the same weekend as the Hungarian Grand Prix.
