Romain Grosjean: Saturday is going to be a very busy day;

The Haas drivers, like most of their colleagues, didn't get much driving in on this rain-disturbed first day. Not really enough to get an idea of the behavior of the American single-seater, but enough to worry about the workload that awaits them tomorrow.

Romain Grosjean: Saturday is going to be a very busy day;

Only a few laps during the first free practice session in the morning were credited to the two Haas drivers. Although both managed to complete a timed lap, it is not truly significant given how disastrous the weather conditions were.

The second practice session having been canceled, we will have to wait until tomorrow to see the drivers in action again.

Romain Grosjean – FP1: 1:53.039 (5th – 6 laps); FP2: cancelled

It was not a good afternoon for anyone, for us, for the spectators and the viewers, and all those who got up early in Europe to see us. We managed to do a few laps in the morning, which is better than nothing, and we have a small idea of the work we need to do and where we need to go. We had planned to try that during FP2, but we couldn’t run. Saturday is going to be a very busy day. The car doesn’t seem too bad, which is encouraging. We’ll see how things unfold during the weekend.

Kevin Magnussen – FP1: 1:55.104 (10th – 8 laps); FP2: canceled

We didn’t learn much today so I hope we can drive tomorrow. The forecast seems to be better. We wanted to drive, we wanted to be on track but it was out of our control, so what more could we do?
