Ferrari announces the presentation date of its 2017 single-seater
The Ferrari team was the first to announce the date for the presentation of its single-seater for the 2017 season. Unsurprisingly, the launch will take place at the Maranello factory.
The 2016 season has barely ended and already, all eyes are on 2017. The unveiling of the single-seaters will soon begin, and for once this year, it is Ferrari that has been the quickest to announce the launch date of its 2017 model.
The single-seater, once again driven by Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen, will be presented in Maranello on Friday, February 24.
This new single-seater must absolutely bring Ferrari back to form, as the team hasn’t won any championship since 2008, with the constructors’ title achieved, notably, thanks to Felipe Massa…and Räikkönen.
The 2017 season promises to be a year of profound regulatory changes for Formula 1. An opportunity that Ferrari will undoubtedly want to seize, as confirmed by Mattia Binotto, the technical director of Scuderia, during the annual Christmas meeting with the press last Monday: « What we lacked this year was the ability to react quickly. We must therefore be able to introduce new solutions before others do. »
